I was seen by Dr Sharma when I was feeling very weak and had difficulty in breathing. Dr Sharma was aware of my breathing problems and tested me for oxygen in my blood and soon discovered simple excercise was causing this to decrease rapidly. I was then given a straight and to the point instruction to go to hospital as I possibly had blood clots in my lungs, I listened to her and went within minutes. I was looked after very well by ambulance and hospital staff alike at Hillingdon and was very quickly diagnosed as blood clots in my lungs. This was 9 weeks ago and I am now making good recovery, I am back at work on restricted duties and hope to make a full recovery soon. I am now aware this was something which could have left me in serious ill health for the remainder of my life, due to Dr Sharma performing a test on me, which for her was a simple one, I can now look forward to regaining full fitness in the near future. I would like to thank Dr Sharma for everything she did that day, and, what was a simple test in her eyes could be viewed as a life saving one through my eyes. Thank you very much Dr Seerat Sharma
