It was an extremely difficult time for us seeing Harry as someone we didn't recognise transgressed in to a world he lived in many years ago. Dr Kersh's manner,his tone of voice and genuine compassion, understanding and empathy were a great support to myself, my husband and mother-in-law. Although he could not give us a cure for Harry's dementia he helped us so much by reassuring us that he had the best care and the staff in his 'Mallard' ward are true angels quietly comforting and caring for Harry despite his agitation. It is so reassuring that in the latter stages of life Harry is being looked after we'll by people who respect his dignity. Thank you so much Dr Kershaw and all the staff on Mallard ward.
