Prior to starting chemotherapy in July 2020 ... Dr Leech fitted a port to bypass using my veins to take blood & administer the chemo. I would recommend this if offered to you as it took a lot of stress out of a very difficult time for myself & was far easier to incorporate into my life when not in use compared to a pic line which I have had fitted in the past.
