I would say to anyone who finds themselves having to attend Dr Kar's clinic (as I did after major surgery on my pituitary gland) that they should have every confidence in him and his team to give the very best care and advice available within the NHS. I can truthfully say that I have never felt that I was just a number or even "a guinea pig", but treated respectfully and with care and understanding. Dr Kar and his team are so knowledgeable in their field and I know they are at the cutting edge of all new innovations within the medical profession which should be very reassuring to patients old and new. Like other patients in his care I have always had the facility to call the clinic to be guided on any concerns I have and have always found the running of the appointments system very efficient. I particularly feel good about the fact that Dr Kar liaises with colleagues at Southampton General Hospital on a regular basis to discuss results and consider best action for his patients if this is required. I have always found any concerns I might have are dealt with promptly by Dr Kar.
