I Saw him (briefly) for depression. first appointment he double booked me and kept me waiting 2 hours. Then when I did see him he was condescending and abrupt. Tried a second appointment with my wife present (at his request) because I did not want to make a judgement based on a single meeting - after all everyone can have a bad day. However he was no better. He did not give me answers to my questions and kept dodging them, rather than dealing honestly with my concerns. Essentially his approach was 'I know what is best for you and you don't need to know the details and what is involved in any treatment plans'. Essentially treating me like a young child. Lastly he recommended I see my GP and pursue a specific part of the action plan, then when by GP challenged the approach I relayed, I asked him to confirm this was his suggestion with my GP and he refused. This does not make for a great environment to build trust. He is very highly qualified but seems to have forgotten that his patients are actually people with real lives, families and commitments outside of seeing him. In summary if you want to work in partnership with your doctor, to address health issues, and be able to trust him, I would recommend finding someone other than Dr Craig.
