Dr Kahn fitted me with a pacemaker approximately 18 months ago, at the time I was nervous to say the least especially being under the age of 50. On every occasion Dr Kahn has settled my nerves and explained everything in a very professional manner. Anyone reading this, I hope you never have the need of a cardiologist but if you do you will never find a more professional knowledgeable Doctor with a proven track record in his field. Kind regards Mike Knowles

In January this year, I went to Royton HC as I was feeling out of breath and a tightness across the chest. I was then referred to Dr Khan at the Glodwick HC, who started a series of tests including the wearing of a 24hr monitor. It became clear I needed a stent and within three months I have had a stent inserted. I am now on the road to recovery and walking short distances without the chest tightness. I am so pleased at the dedication and care to which I have received from Dr Khan and the Team at Fairfield Hospital. Considering the cuts to the NHS from the current Government I can only say thank you to you all for the professionalism and dedication you all provide....

I've been under the care of Dr M Kahn for 9 months now. In my first appointment with him, I told him all my symptoms and he listened carefully and reassured me that he would get me the treatment I needed. He arranged for me to have an heart monitor fitted for 24 hours, which discovered my heart was beating too slow, alot slower than normal. In my 2nd appointment with him, he showed me the graph from the heart monitor so I could understand what had happened. He told me had already been in contact with his colleague in Manchester prior to my appointment and that I would be a possible candidate for an pacemaker. His colleague at Manchester got in contact with me the week after, and then the week after I went to Manchester and was told I would benefit from having the pacemaker as my condition would only get worse if left alone, however everything was left in my hands and I wasnt rushed at any time. I knew I had to have the pacemaker fitted. So 5 days after seeing consultant at Manchester, I was in sugery having a pacemaker fitted. Couldn't recommend Dr Kahn and his team enough.
