Dr McGilligan is the best doctor ever! He listens attentively and communicates quite clearly. I was suffering from severe abdominal pains in the last couple of years, I saw Dr McGilligan only once about the pains and he immediately referred me to several scans and followed up with a Gynea specialist appointment for me. Everything progressed swiftly and turned out that I needed a major operation. It was quite a success and I have no such awful pains. Superb care... Thanks!

Superb!
I wish all doctors were tjis thorough and professional and careful not to offer medication or intervention procedures when there may be simple alternative remedies (eg exercise).

Dr McGilligan went above and beyond and stayed later than his working hours in order to fit me in, for minor surgery on my toe nail. He explained exactly what the procedure was and the important facts about after care in order to improve results following the visit. He took an interest about me as a person and wished me luck for the future ahead of me. He seemed in no rush, took his time and was open to my many questions. Although I was seen slightly later than my appointment time, this was totally understood by myself as the service was fantastic and really made me proud of the NHS services we have in place. There is one last positive, my toe no longer hurts, so this doctor knows what he is doing! Brilliant to say the least.

I have been a patient of Dr. McGilligan's since he joined the Practice and have consulted him for various reasons over the years, for both routine matters and more urgent ones. He has always listened to my concerns and suggested treatment or referral where necessary. His positive and calm approach is reassuring and I feel I am being treated as an individual, not just a number.
