Dr McGilligan is probably the best GP I've seen over the years. He takes the time to inform himself of your medical issues, lifestyle and background, making a consultation with him a very personal experience. He is concise and informative when delivering his plan of action and I was left in no doubt as to how things would proceed. A blood test was required and he conducted that during the same consultation. Surely a very efficient way of operating and not only saved me taking more time off work but also removed the requirement for me to waste more NHS resources by making another appointment. Dr McGilligan was running a little late but I must stress that this is not a negative for me. I'd rather wait a little longer and have an appointment with a GP like this, than be on time with someone who just want to 'process' me and move on to the next patient. You can't have it all and if a little time is the only thing we patients have to give to receive care like Dr McGilligan provides, then I'd say we're on to a winner. Highly recommended.

I became ill last weekend and as a result booked an appointment via 101 with the Doctor at East Surrey hospital where I was hurried through (once called in) and felt like an unimportant piece of meat to them and told nothing was wrong. The next few days the condition became worse and I made an appointment with my local GP surgery to see Doctor McGiligan who spotted a number of things that the other emergency Doctor had missed. Due to a chance of Glandular fever he took a blood test "then and there" to save both the nurses and my time which I thought was considerate and an excellent way to improve service. I felt the diagnosis was thorough and a lot more accurate and I would highly recommend to anyone. This isn't the first time that I have had this great service from Doctor McGiligan so I know this wasn't a one off.

A very helpful and understanding Dr who performed surgery on my back without me feeling any pain whatsoever, while explaining in layman's terms what would and did take place. I would highly recommend Dr McGilligan without hesitation.
