Dr Keating very kindly gave time to myself and my mum after the loss of my brother who had been a patient of his. He was very kind and helpful in describing his illness and the decisions that had been taken regarding his care. He was very good with my brother, straight talking and kind at a time when my brother's illness could make him quite difficult to deal with. I also work with a lot of clients who are under this man's care. I have never heard a bad word about him which says everything really

I am a former patient of Dr.Keating, he was my Doctor for 20yrs and was always professional and explained all procedures with clarity..He was cheerful and would go the extra mile, I always felt confident he had my best interests at heart..He gave me my health back so l can have a happy future.l can't thank him enough, and I cherish each and every day because I am alive!

I have recently received treatment for a stone trapped in my bile duct which was quite painful. After presenting myself or a and e at Furness General Hospital, twice, my condition was diagnosed and confirmed following an MRI scan. Dr keeting talked me through the procedure to remove the stone and took the time to answer my questions. On the day of the procedure called an mrcp I was very nervous and Dr keeting assisted in talking to me to reassure me and in doing everything to ensure I was comfortable. The procedure took 20 minutes and I am truly grateful for his warm manner and professionalism. He's a skilled surgeon and a kind bloke..
