I've been under the care of Dr Jeremy now for 5+ years so I think I'm in a good position to give feedback. Apart from being a genuinely caring person, Dr Jeremy is a professional, competent and extremely humble psychiatrist. His approach to care is 'patient centered' - and not a 'one size fits all'. He's warm and empathetic and has a kind manner that makes it easy to share/confide in him. Furthermore, he is dedicated and stays on top of advancements in his field and is aware of the newer treatments. Although he is not afraid to experiment with some of the newer drugs, he doesn't mindlessly push drugs and utilizes other non-pharmacological treatments. Dr Jeremy's profession humility is reflected in his willingness to acknowledge and admit when he doesn't know something, and when he says he will look into it and get back to me, he does so in a timely manner. Personal humility on his part is reflected in how he approaches our meetings with the constant awareness that, no matter what state my mental health is in, I'm an equal to him as a human being. He has always treated me as an equal, and our relationship as a 'partnership'. He always listens to what I have to say and totally involves me in deciding what path my treatment takes. This is hugely important for me. I really cannot speak more highly of him.
