when i first visited this doctor i was suffering from depression, some thing i always thought as many people was a matter of how strong a person is or not , how wrong was i , as i walked into the room of this doctor , i was wondering what i was doing there , with a feeling of i dont want to be in this room ,he turned round with a friendly smile and said take a seat and how can i help you , i felt kind of easier and sat , and the appointment went well . when i went home i could not think what had gone on or what this doctor looked like , but i had this feeling that some one actually cared , that was over two years ago now ,and i have seen him approx every month ( poor man ) ,he has seen me through surgery twice . all this time i have always felt safe in his care , always felt that he listened to me , and treated me as me not just another person , yes i know that this is his job but that smile and that ear that listens will always make my medical problems easier , a smile and eye contact makes a visit to a doctor so much better ,than that grumpy voice what can i do and no eye contact ,i hope this doctor never leaves the practice ,i want to grow old with that smile .a smile that saved me doing some thing really really silly 2 and a half years ago . thank you so much :)
