I am fortunate to belong to a practice where duty of care is taken seriously. I can ring the surgery and obtain an appointment within 24 hours, usually with my own GP. Dr Grainger has the capacity to listen, to empathise and to offer possible and practical solutions to mental or physical difficulties. I feel cared for and respected and feel my GP is honest and open. I have also received great nursing care from the practice, where skill and intuition are used in an environment which feels safe and non-intrusive. The practice could improve by reorganising its reception area so that long queues do not form ( I know steps are already being taken to resolve this situation).

Dr Grainger hasn't been long at the Court Thorn and I came across him before at a Carlisle Practice. He was good then and I think he is even better now. Dr Grainger gives you time, he listens respectfully and has a good sense of humour which puts me at ease. Really glad that I have Dr Grainger as my GP.
