I checked into Springfield Hospital on Friday 17/09/2021 for Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery. Dr Hywel Jones was my anaesthetist. Hywel came to my room, introduced himself and explained what was going to happen. Pryor to surgery Hywel administered the anaesthetic reassuring me all the time. Post Op we met up again, Hwel had to deal with a minor bleed witch he did with minimal fuss. After a reasonable nights rest Hwel revisited me, gave me a check over, and again went through what had happened and what to expect. All these facts were on the A4 fact sheet that he gave me on his 1st visit, which i found very informative.
