Words cannot explain the amount of unneeded stress and uncertainty this Doctor has caused me. I was left in doubt and in disbelief with the amount of care I was given. Having already been diagnosed with endometriosis, I felt that Dr Bano completely disregarded any of my concerns and left me with no positive outcome and feasible options. On two occasions she was clearly not ready for me during scheduled appointments
and was reading another patients tests results. It was also made very clear that she was more interested in money, as she clearly stated my appointment time was during "private" patient time and not NHS, at which point I was made to feel uncomfortable and rushed to leave. I honestly feel that there was no duty of care or compassion and would not recommend her to anyone.

Dr Farido Bano has enabled me to have a procedure without invasive surgery due to her expertise. Her manner was always reassuring and I therefore have full confidence in her should a further need arise.

I am a consultant gynaecologist and obstetrician at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and a member of The British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP). I am an accredited colposcopist and a trainer.
I have a wide range of expertise in all aspects of gynaecology providing high quality care to women with general gynaecological conditions including colposcopy, urogynaecology, vaginal surgery, menstrual disorders, contraception, menopause/HRT and pelvic pain. I have published widely within the obstetrics and gynaecology peer reviewed literature throughout my career and frequently present my work in international and national medical conferences.
I have a wide range of expertise in all aspects of gynaecology providing high quality care to women with general gynaecological conditions including Minimal access surgery (laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures including out-patient hysteroscopies), colposcopy, vaginal surgery, prolapse repair/pelvic floor repair, menstrual disorders, contraception, menopause/HRT and pelvic pain.
