Explained everything very clearly and set out a plan of action to determine if anything was wrong--- was very personable and o did not feel rushed
Obviously the suddenness of the occurrence of my heart problem made it difficult to fully understand the potential extent of the problems. I therefore the analysis of the problem with advice as to options helpful to such an extent that much of the fear I had was allayed. There is obviously much yet to do to find a resolution of the problem but I am relatively content that a solution will be found.
Clear, thoughtful and decisive!
I was referred to Dr Leatham eight years ago when I had an episode of AF and a number of related issues, and I have returned regularly since for an annual review. I value his insights and advice, which have enabled me to get on with my life rather than worrying about my cardiac health. He treats me as an intelligent adult, and doesn't talk down to me in the way that some health professionals do.
Never felt hurried, he explained in detail the why the change in medication, his proposed further treatment including time scale. he recommended further tests that I could perform at home to help with treatment. Even to confirm diagnosis by e-mail.
