Dr.Dermot O'Flynn was hired last year to be the GP in charge of my godmothers care. She had round the clock private home care at her flat in Chelsea. She passed away in Oct 2015 at the age of 92.
I would not recommend this doctor and his staff for the following reasons:
1. The head nurse in charge of my godmother's care didnt seem to know what the active signs of dying were, which was a huge cause of concern.
2. Dr. O'flynn didnt respect our privacy and spoke about my godmother's personal and medical details to others.
3. Items were missing from my godmothers flat on the day that she died. We have proof of this as everything in the flat was photographed on the Sat and on the Tuesday the items were missing. There was no one else at the flat but the Dr. O’Flynn’s 3 staff nurses during the last 3 days of my godmothers life. We find this totally unacceptable.
So I feel it is my responsibility to share this experience so others will be aware.
