Dr Fox gave excellent care. He was patient and went through the procedures and the options available. He explained the mechanics of my condition and the possible outcomes. The ablation he performed has improved my health immeasurably.

Having been admitted to A&E on several occasions with atrial flutter and fibulation and having a cardioversion which only lasted 18 days I was referred to Dr Fox I initially saw him at the Spire Hospital in Manchester. Dr Fox is down to earth tells it as it is no fancy medical terms, he diagnosed persistent AF and recommended an ablation and arranged a further cardioversion with the addition of taking some medication first which kept me out of AF until I attended Wythenshawe for the ablation all went straightforward and whilst I need to take medication for life have been out of AF since.
Cannot recommend Dr Fox enough for his time and professionalism

I can't thank Dr Fox enough, he has a down to earth approach and explained the ablation procedure in terms I could understand which put me completely at ease. The care I received at Wythenshawe Hospital from Dr Fox and his team was fantastic. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone suffering from atrial fibrillation, he has given me my life back.

Dr Fox is a lovely man, very caring and so easy to talk to. He has stopped my AF by doing a procedure, I was in the hospital for only 4 hours and I can honestly say I feel 100% better. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

It goes without saying that he's an expert in the field.
I like his clear no nonsense approach which in my case sorted the AF and as a bi product reduced my alcohol intake.

Dr David Fox is a highly experienced cardiologist/electrophysiologist in Manchester and has been a consultant for over 10 years.
He spent a period of his training at one of the worlds premier heart rhythm institutes (University of Western Ontario, Canada) working with pioneering cardiologist Professor George J Klein, the author of over 500 medical publications.
Dr Fox specialises in the treatment of all heart rhythm disorders and carries out over 220 ablation procedures annually and has a particular interest in atrial fibrillation ablation (pulmonary vein isolation). He also is fully trained in all aspects of pacemaker/ICD implantation.
He is the lead for cardiac rhythm services at Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester and runs the annual audit program to ensure high levels of safety in and quality of the atrial fibrillation ablation program.
