I can only comment that, based on my personal experience, I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Fox. It's like a breathe of fresh air to find a Consultant in this day and age who actually listens to what you say.

Dr Fox explained everything in full about the procedure during my appointment with him at Preston Hospital and this really made me feel at ease.
On the day of the procedure at Wythenshawe Hospital Dr Fox took the time to speak to me and go over the procedure again.
His team also made me feel at ease and they too explained their role during the procedure.
Throughout the procedure everything was explained and I was given reassurance from all the team.
Since my procedure I have experienced the symptom's that Dr Fox explained would occur after surgery and due to him explaining things so well I have been able to deal with them and not panic.
I had my follow up appointment today and again felt very at ease.
Dr Fox and his team are a credit to Preston and Wythenshawe Hospital and I am very grateful for the treatment that I have received from them.

Dr Fox carried out my ablation at Wythenshawe hospital November 2018. At every stage he was very clear & concise about my condition & treatment plan. At every step Dr fox was reassuring & positive of the big improvement & benefit I will see from this procedure. He was right!! Dr Fox along with all his team were amazing, supportive & I cannot recommend Dr fox & his team enough.

Dr Fox is an incredibly skilled and knowledgeable cardiologist and electrophysiologist. When I first met Dr Fox, he was very patient and listened to all of my concerns and questions - offering reassurance and a solution. I was very nervous and apprehensive but Dr Fox alleviated all of my concerns.
I had an EP study and ablation to correct an atrial tachycardia. The level of care and support that I received during the procedure was world class. Dr Fox talked me through the full procedure and I found it all fascinating to watch as I was awake for the procedure. He used the latest technology to diagnose and treat my condition and I feel very fortunate that due to his skill and care, I no longer require medication and I feel the best I have felt in a very long time.
Dr Fox is a leading expert in heart rhythm disorders and I would highly recommend him to anyone who requires treatment or advice relating to cardiac issues. I am so grateful that I was referred to Dr Fox and really cannot thank him and his incredible team enough for their tremendous care.

Dr David Fox is a highly experienced cardiologist/electrophysiologist in Manchester and has been a consultant for over 10 years.
He spent a period of his training at one of the worlds premier heart rhythm institutes (University of Western Ontario, Canada) working with pioneering cardiologist Professor George J Klein, the author of over 500 medical publications.
Dr Fox specialises in the treatment of all heart rhythm disorders and carries out over 220 ablation procedures annually and has a particular interest in atrial fibrillation ablation (pulmonary vein isolation). He also is fully trained in all aspects of pacemaker/ICD implantation.
He is the lead for cardiac rhythm services at Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester and runs the annual audit program to ensure high levels of safety in and quality of the atrial fibrillation ablation program.
