Very positive attitude Excellent rapport Friendly and open Quickly able to determine important points with patient Able to make things happen (organised an X Ray on New Years Eve which revealed a serious but previously unknown condition) Provides proper follow up after appointments Willing to discuss options once sufficient information available I am seriously considering whether I should ask to join this practice on the basis of observed behaviours and outcomes

I have been seen by this doctor the once, as he is relatively new to the surgery but was impressed from the moment I met him. He was polite, showed interest in my concerns, provided reassurance and took the necessary steps to ensure there were no underlying issues.

Dr Targett gave me a warm welcoming handshake on the occasion of our first meeting. I quickly felt at ease with him and I felt entirely comfortable talking to him about a number of sensitive health/personal issues; he is an excellent listener. His engagement style is empathetic and supportive. He gave me confidence and hope for making a full recovery from my current period of ill health, which was the polar opposite of how I felt in the waiting room! Dr Targett treated me with respect and dignity throughout. I am extremely pleased to have him as my GP.
