We were lucky enough for our son to be under Dr Schoonakker whilst in NICU at City. He was always on top of our sons issues and addressed all our concerns with care and absolute understanding of the problems. We look forward to our outpatient follow ups with him with his mix of excellent handling of our son (our son doesn't even realise he's been "examined") and gives us encouragement when appropriate and tells us what to look out for to be aware of any potential issues. A doctor who inspires confidence with a wonderful manner. We consider ourselves very lucky to be under his care.
