Dr Valavanis met me once, told me I don't have a neurological condition despite not running any tests - relying solely on another doctors tests which only included an MRI and one type of nerve test. He told me I need to see a psychiatrist! Why? Because I have PTSD I paid out £1500 to UCLHs national neurology and neuroscience hospital To see one of the countries top neurologists who also has an NHS clinic and have the tests done that the previous NHS neurologists including the rude and dismissive Dr Valavanis not only assumed I didn't need but REFUSED to consider altogether For someone who doesn't have a neurological condition, my test came back with Peripheral Nerve hyperexcitability. When I asked the Professor if that means I can cancel the psychiatrist appointment for FND he said yes, because I don't need a psychiatrist! I have a neurological condition and it isn't FND!
