I just made the switch from Dr Warner to Dr Valavanis and it is like a breath of fresh air! Dr Valavanis is very thoughtful, taking into account my type of seizures, the frequency of them, and which triggers I’d noticed. He shows the desire to keep me on the lowest dose of my medication as possible, which is a relief as Dr Warner put me straight onto lamotrigine with no warnings of the serious side effects. Dr Valavanis is easy to talk to, listens intently, and really cares for his patients. He also helps my brother, and since my brother has made changes to his medication (under the advice and guidance of Dr Valavanis) his seizures have gone from happening every week, to him going months with no seizures. I honestly can’t praise this Doctor enough, he’s brilliant!
