It was such a pleasure and a relief to finally meet Dr Vazquez, I had spoken to her several times during a difficult period in my life and during lockdown and I felt completely listened to and supported. Dr Vazquez was recommended to me by several female friends who also felt she went above and beyond in order to support and advise regarding women’s health, emotional/mental well-being and issues around menopause. I have also recommended other women to DR Vazquez, she is highly thought of within the community and specifically around supporting women’s health.

Dr Vazquez has helped me through some tricky times health wise when I had some gynaecological issues. Extreme bleeding, very low iron levels, She saw me, listened to me, took time to find the route of the problem and looked at all the options, giving full explanations of everything in detail. Thankfully the resolve was a marina coil (which I was hesitant about having) but being well informed by DR V of the many questions I had I felt confident having it. She was the person who actually inserted it and made it bearable, not the dreaded experience I’d been worrying about. Having to have a 2nd coil 4 years later, again by DR V, although not as comfortable an experience (not related to her) she again put me at ease, was patient, spoke softly and even put on relaxing music of my choice - which made the who episode so much better. Dr V has always said it’s her job to inform, but not to pressure you into anything you are unhappy with- this immediately makes me trust her more and feel relaxed, the same with HRT information. To find a doctor who you really believe knows about you and what you’re experiencing is so important. I really don’t think there are any suggestions to give better care as she has really looked after myself and family over the years. We’ll be sad to not have her at our practice anymore.

Dr Vasquez has one of the best bedside manners at Harbourview. She is amazing with children! This is saying a lot as our appointments were over the telephone. She followed through with my 6 month old daughter's care, ringing back to make sure she was improving.

Dr Vazquez gave me a full and thorough consultation (much longer than a normal NHS appointment). She followed it up with a text the same day with further details after she had spoken to a specialist. Her advice was given gently but firmly enough for me to act on it. I received a letter with further thoughts this week and discussed my condition and prognosis with her on the phone today. Dr Vazquez has been extremely solicitous and I’m very glad it was her who I saw. I couldn’t recommend her more.
