Dr Montgomery was very kind and patient and made me feel like I was in a secure environment where I could freely share my mind. I felt that he was able to completely understand my issues and to help me start to understand them better myself.

I am not actually a patient, but a patient's mother. I have been so happy with Dr Montgomery's care of my daughter - she reports that he is the first person who has actually listened to her! This is after many years experience of NHS psychiatrists. As the parent of a child with mental health issues things were never easy - we spent years when she was younger trying to get care but it was very lacking. My daughter can sometimes present this façade of a very hard-bitten person which can be off-putting. Dr Montgomery saw straight through this without any prejudice. Things are never going to be easy - I accept that - but at least she finally is getting treatment with someone she trusts and can talk to. Thank you!!

It's not un-natural to be nervous before an assessment but Andrew really made me feel comfortable & in actual fact was a pleasure to be assessed. Great guy, great doctor. I would definitely come back if there was ever a need (hopefully it's not needed though!)

Going into the video chat with dr Montgomery, I was very nervous, in thinking I would'nt know what to say and wouldn't be heard; From my experience with previous nhs counsellors, however my nerves were quickly soothed, As mr Montgomery joined the chat with a very genuine warm welcome, and was reassuring, in his friendly and understanding approach. I felt very comfortable in explaining my issues to him, in an informal way which help bond on a human level. Overall it was very a productive chat and come out learning a lot; I would definetly recommend Dr Montgomery as he was very professional, warm and could relate on human level which means a lot.
