Having had a mammogram and an ultra sound scan which both showed up as normal, Mr Gash took time to enable me to express my concerns and as a consequence sent me for an MRI scan as a precautionary measure. Thank god he did as I have a diagnosis of breast cancer and I am provisionally booked in for a mastectomy at the end of the month. Although daunting I urge anyone with concerns to speak up as we are the ones who know our own bodies.
