Dr Eichholz is a brilliant doctor. Even though I only met him a couple of times during my cancer treatment, as he wasn't my main oncologist, he made me feel that my condition and its treatment were important and I felt totally confident that his advice was good and up-to-date. He has a warm, caring manner and is very professional, he is an expert in his subject. I would happily choose him as my consultant if given the choice.

I found Dr Eichholz very pleasant, he explained everything in good detail and I never felt rushed during appointments. I felt I could ask as many questions as I needed, even if I thought they might sound daft to him, he always took the time to discuss my treatment and queries. A very professional man and a credit to Oncology Services at Stoke Mandeville.

I have now completed my course of chemo which was supervised by Dr Andrew Eichholz. Whereas chemo is not a pleasant experience and this is not Tripadvisor, Dr Eichholz gave me excellent support for the duration of treatment Each time that I went for follow-up, he would listen carefully to any side effects which I reported and made relevant notes. He was then able to adjust doses here and there to keep the unpleasantness to a minimum. The overall effect of the chemo was very successful the tumour shrank dramatically, so the surgery which has now come and gone was less drastic than it may have been. I have never met such a polite doctor but more than that he knows his stuff. I was able to ask numerous questions along the way and he answered each one. I can't thank him enough.

He took the trouble to ring me and then see me at very short notice and listened to what I said . He explained everything very clearly and answered my questions about every aspect of the treatment . From being unable to organise my next few months to knowing exactly what I can do has been a great relief ! .
