Cancer is a devastating and very frightening diagnosis but rest assured, you are going to receive first class treatment from this first class Dr. I can remember my first appointment with him, I literally shook with fear, I was completely devastated but he was kind, gentle and compassionate. I will never forget the words he said to me just before I left, ‘I’m going to take good care of you’ and from that moment on I knew I was going to be ok. Dr Eichholz is totally thorough when explaining things, this was very apparent to my sister whose first language is not English. He was crystal clear and she was able to keep up and understand everything being explained. He is now affectionately referred to as Dottore Meticoloso! Dr Eichholz genuinely cares for his patients and this was very apparent to me from day one. Dr Eichholz made sure I received help in dealing with the emotional aspect of cancer and also arranged for an additional scan to be done when more clarity was needed. All the nurses and staff at Stoke Mandeville, Wycombe and The Churchill were always full of praise and compliments for Dr Eichholz but I already knew I was in the very best hands possible. He saved my life…and he will do everything he can to save yours too.
