Dr Birtle, one of the nicest doctors I have ever met. No nonsense, straight talking, kind and compassionate. She has cared for me for the past 10 years, going out of her way to ensure the best treatment is obtained, arranging trials of new treatments, both at Preston and The Marsden in London. Dr Birtle always has time to sit and explain her treatment plans and listens to and addresses your concerns. She treats you like a person and fills you with confidence. I am full of admiration and respect a great Oncologist.
Oh by the way, she can be a bit bossy in the nicest way, but I got to admit she has always been right.
