Dr Alexandra Whiter completed her undergraduate medical student training at Cambridge and Oxford, qualifying in 1996. After house jobs, she spent the next few years working in and around London in hospital general medicine, acquiring the MRCP examinations in 1999 before deciding to become a general practitioner. Prior to starting community training in family medicine, she gained further experience in both obstetrics and gynaecology and in paediatrics. She has also recently completed a post graduate diploma in genomics.
