I had a telephone consultation with Dr Mayet and he was very thorough, reassuring & immediately sent me all the information I might require & instigated further tests. In the current climate with Covid rates soaring, I felt well looked after & did not need to have a face to face appointment. Telephone consultations are an excellent facility. Superb service from Fern House surgery & Dr Mayet.

Went to see Dr Ahmed Mayet regarding a lump so wanted to get it checked to be sure. Dr Mayet was professional, listened to what I had to say over the phone, and suggested for I come into the surgery on the same day. He reassured me it wasn't anything serious upon examination but ordered a scan just to double-check. Couldn't fault anything with the service.

I have been under the care of of Dr Mayet for some years after moving from another surgery, it was the best thing I did. He takes time to listen and explain things, he sent me for a scan recently Dr Mayet sent the results back to me the same day. I can highly recommend him. I would thoroughly recommend Dr Mayet. I had concerns about some symptoms - anything health-related now makes me very anxious, following a cancer diagnosis and treatment last year. Dr Mayet took my concerns seriously and acted upon them, sending me for blood tests as necessary, and following up with me soon after each one. He sent my blood forms by text, which was extremely convenient for me, and also introduced me to the online booking service for blood tests, which I have found to be very effective. All our consultations took place over the phone, which in this instance was both convenient and efficient. I felt listened to, understood, and as though he was doing all he could to get to the bottom of the issue. I will not hesitate to see Dr Mayet in future.
