I was quite surprised to be able to see a doctor face to face at the Fern House surgery but once over the shock and talking to Dr. Mayet I remembered how this used to be a normal part of our lives when needed. Dr. Mayet is an excellent GP and listened to my concerns without the need for rushing me out of the door with prescription in hand. I feel confident when seeing Dr. Mayet that he will deal with my health issues in a professional and competent manner commensurate with his position.

Dr Mayet was knowledgeable, attentive and extremely proactive with my mothers care, taking her consideration into account at every point. It took one week: from face to face 1st consultation with him in surgery, to having full torso CT with contrast, blood tests and bowel sample - then all results reviewed with him in surgery again. Such an amazing service.

Dr Mayet is a very empathic and understanding doctor. He listened to what was was going on is doing everything he can to get to the bottom of what's going on. He has offered many resources for support and guidance and has referred for more testing, as well as referring for more support. He fully listens to everything you say and that makes all the difference. Highly recommend.
