Hi I see Dr Mayet today he is always so smartly dressed and comes out to welcome you in after listening to me gave me full picture of what he thought was my problem explaining my options & answering several questions then made several referrals to get them sorted he also gave me a print out of website where I can find out all the circumstances about my issues When I came out I felt so relieved that he explained in details to me in simple terms he is a true doctor that you can trust too .

The failure of a GP led to us nearly losing our first child...so come our third child, we were taking no chances. I have never come across a Dr such as Dr Mayet. He takes great care in everything that he does, fully explains the advice that he gives and above all, takes his time with each and every patient. He understands that you are not 'just another patient'. When everyone else was ignoring us, he is the only one who listens and fought for us to be seen and referred. As a result, we are now on the way to receiving the care we should have received from the start, from my daughter's consultant. He chases up each appointment and makes it clear that he is always there...everytime. Nothing I can do or say will ever be enough to say or show how grateful I am to have him as my GP. I have nothing but praise for him...he has given us belief and hope.

Dr Mayet has a particular interest in and training in mental health problems and he surpasses any mental health specialists that I have dealt with over the last 20 years since my bipolar diagnosis. He combines an extensive familiarity with the merits and demerits of bipolar medication, with active listening and perception, giving me much needed perspective at dark times, encouraging me but challenging me at the same time, giving me practical tools to cope with daily life and, critically, to spot critical situations and seek help before they spiral out of control. In addition to closely monitoring my condition and helping to find me the right medication to control my mood swings, he has sought to understand my life pressures and taught me to take better preventative care. At every consultation he provides counselling as well as strategies and practical resources. He is highly efficient at getting access and advice from specialists. He has proved an excellent advocate. He is the first GP I have come across that has insisted that my husband, my primary carer attends critical meetings so that my husband is able to provide key observations and perspective on my state of health and also so he gains a better understanding of the severity of my condition and is better able to provide monitoring and timely support. Needless to say Dr Mayet always, always goes above and beyond, in spite of the pressures he has to give his attention to his many patients. Dr Mayet is a highly skilled, pro-active and committed professional and family doctor, who takes a holistic approach to health, and really cares about the well being of those under his care.

May I just say being Ill for sometime the Treatment I received from Dr Ahmed was great, he explained everything to me about my medication how to take them as I hadn’t had anything like this before. I owe this Dr more than words can say I hope he stays at the Surgery also many thanks to the lovely Staff who are very Attentive, very Pleasant, and always have a Smile for you when Attending Thank You once again

Firstly I would say what a reassuring step back to normality it is to be offered face to face appointments again, and to be greeted by Dr Mayet with a smile and a handshake means a lot. Dr Mayet deals with my issues and concerns promptly and professionally and listens with a sympathetic ear. I know I will receive sound, unhurried advice, given patiently with pros and cons explained and supported by further external sources of information and advice. In particular he has been quick to refer both my wife and me recently for further urgent specialist investigations to be carried out, for which we are grateful. He also kept my blood cancer consultant at Bart's informed of results that would be of interest to him arising from a blood test that was undertaken for other reasons, and so ensure co-ordination of treatments. It shouldn't need to be said but we do feel confident that we will have the best possible treatment and outcomes as a result of his interventions.
