I have been under treatment by Dr. Mawas now for over five years during which time the good doctor has diagnosed me most professionally with NARFLD which is commonly known as "Fatty Liver" disease and associated cirrhosis. At first I was shocked and frightened by the findings and only later discovered that I also have type 2 diabetes. The good news is that due to the professional and diligent approach taken by Dr. Mawas and his patience in explaining how to address the prognosis and treatment. I am today in much a much better condition than I was five years ago when I first found out about it. Dr. Mawas has been absolutely brilliant in guiding me along a recovery path that included a gradual change of lifestyle, attention to diet and exercise, plus how to get my liver to improve in stages and to get my diabetes to go into remission. It has been a long journey, but due to his excellent manner, his kindness and attention to me as a patient. I believe that I have experienced the very best of care and I now really appreciate not only the benefits of good health but also a future that has some promise. I am truly indebted to Dr. Mawas as he has always been there for me with really pragmatic advice, he has telephoned me with results and keeps both myself and my GP fully appraised of the ongoing situation. He has performed the endoscopy operations himself, along with his magnificent team. He constantly monitors my blood tests and scan results and is thoroughly on top of his profession and care for me. I am sure that I would not and could not have received better attention and treatment even from a private Harley Street specialist if I had gone down the private route, not to mention the massive expenses that would involve. All I can say is that if you need similar treatment then Dr. Mawas is the main man. He is over here in the UK looking after us and is a long way from his homeland, which is great for us, but a big loss elsewhere. Thank God for Dr. Mawas, he is the most kindest and considerate Doctor that I have ever met and I consider myself lucky be here with my family becasue of what he has done for me. I am eternally grateful to him and our NHS
