I have had the best NHS care imaginable under Mr Hatrick for my recent, "Open Shoulder rotator cuff repair". I had a speedy referral from BSUH virtual clinic after a biking accident. Mr Hatrick diagnosed that the Supra and infraspinatus were both damaged after a scan, and that open repair would be necessary. My surgery was given urgent attention due to total loss of mobility of my arm, I am normally a manual worker. I had sustained 5cm tear at Supra and infraspinatus which required 3 Anchor fixings and sutures to the abraided bone. Currently I am at 12 weeks post-op and making great progress with strength and full range of movements, whilst still undergoing daily physio work. I feel sure that this is a very well executed surgical repair and should prove to make full recovery . Whilst under Mr Hatrick's care, his treatment centre and clinics have been so efficiently run , I would say they are a great advert for the much maligned NHS .
