Following an accident I suffered quite severe damage to my shoulder which required major surgery to fix it. In my late 50's and never having had any kind of operation before I was nervous about the prospect and extremely anxious to avoid a bad experience / outcome. I took advice from various informed people and all of them without hesitation, said for a shoulder problem you have to see Cameron Hatrick who is the best shoulder man in the Brighton / South East area. In the event he more than lived up to his billing. At the first consultation I felt confident that I was in good hands. On top of his undoubted experience he was friendly, approachable and positive. His initial diagnosis was spot on as confirmed by the scans and he was thorough and unpatronising in his explanation and description of what he was going to do, what the risks were and what the recovery process was likely to be. On the day of the operation he and the excellent anaesthetist made me feel relaxed and that I was in the best hands, again being clear and thorough about the procedure and process. Mr Hatrick skilfully repaired the not inconsiderable damage to my shoulder and I was left with a surprisingly neat and tidy scar which healed much quicker than I thought it would. The post operative care provided by Mr Hatrick was equally good and he was focused on making sure that the shoulder would be as good if not better than it was before the accident. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Hatrick.
