i am a medical student undertaking my psych placement at st marys. I shadowed nurse young in her role in the self harm team. she was very accommodating, willing to both teach and learn from me. she was very respectful of what I could bring to the discussed and after seeing the patient asked for my input and impression and was willing to include this in the patient's notes. I will be recommending that my fellow student on the placement spend some time with Jackie and/or her team.
