We believe our child received good care, however they didn't want to be in hospital, so probably didn't feel the care was good - but this is linked to their mental illness, not the level of service provided.

Suggested improvements
Communication. We aren't always clear what is happening or when. We were sometimes told we'd be contacted about various things, e.g. home leave, but this contact didn't happen consistently. We were told we could always talk to staff when visiting/collecting our child, but staff are (understandably) busy and never look like they would welcome being asked for feedback.
