Review of Emergency Department written by a patient
19th August 2016

Although the beacon and A&E departments were busy - being 1:30pm on a Sunday when I first came in, the staff were wonderful, everyone was kind, helpful and treated me with respect. This was the same on further visits. St Mary's is wonderful because of its staff. Many thanks.

Even though this process is quite painful, it only lasts seconds, I feel it is important to attend, it is a good service and this unit is very efficient and caring, they treat you with respect and are courteous at all times, it is somewhere I don't mind going to. Keep up the good work.

Review of Mottistone Suite written by a patient
18th August 2016

Sister Sara Henderson was absolutely marvellous - so kind and compassionate. Explained everything in detail and nothing was too much trouble. Under Sister Henderson's leadership, the nurses and all staff were so kind and attentive - a great team! My stay at Mottistone was faultless and I would wholly recommend Mottistone to friends and family, especially under the care of the present team. However, on a negative, The Mottistone now has the reputation of being filled with NHS patients with private patients waiting anything up to 3-4 hours/even being turned away because there are no rooms. If this continues, no amount of advertising will entice patients back - they will venture to the mainland. It is very sad that it is being allowed to run this way and is causing much distress.
