Share review of St Bartholomew's Hospital
Have suffered cardio problems for some years, with troublesome (to me) ectopics that kick in from time to time. My consultant recommended that I have a CT Angiogram. I was really apprehensive about the overall procedure, particularly as I have a needle phobia and knew I would need a canula procudure to allow tha contrast dye to be injected as part of the CT scan. The staff could not have been more sympatheitc and understanding. Generally the procedure was fine, only had a bit of a problem with the effect the GTN spray, but the staff would not leave me without checking everything was fine without rushing me in any way. The best NHS experience I have had for the care and concern as an outpatient! The area was very clean and the appointment time had no delays.
