I was very scared at the thought of going for an operation as this is the first time I have ever been admitted into hospital, but the staff were amazing at comforting me and making me feel better.

A/E plus EAU attention to patient requirements were poor, was left from 1;45pm until 6pm and sill hadn't received lunch, despite asking numerous times. Ward 1 staff were very helpful and friendly.

Atmosphere on ward changes with each shift. Staff slag each other off. Feel so sorry for staff nurses. So much work more nurses needed.

I was very impressed this time as last year my mum was on same ward and I was not happy with the care she received. But I would like to say a big big thank you to Amy Halliday the student nurse.
