This was my first visit to A&E at STDH for a number of years with my 67 year old mother who had sustained a fall down the stairs. I found all staff extremely helpful, courteous, caring, kind and showed great empathy. The A&E dept.has recently been re-furbished and I found it very clean and welcoming. Our whole visit to A&E lasted only 2 hours and this included being seen by the triage nurse, ex-ray, bone manipulation, further ex-ray, plaster cast, then discharge. I found the whole experience excellent, especially the total time it took. All staff are to be commended. Well done and thank you. We are very grateful to you all for your care.
