Experience was good
The only negative wa when booked in
Sitting waiting for two to four hours
It would have nice to have been informed
How far you were away fro seeing the Doctor.
Everything else doctors especially and the nursing team were excellent
I waited 2 and a half hours and didn't even get called to triage I had bad kidney pain and could sit no longer I was very disappointed
I was treated with kindness and respect - everything explained clearly.
First time using the new emergency department and it was clean, tidy and very welcoming to say it was the emergency department. I was seen by 2 different drs but the second one explained that the other had changed shifts and spent a while reading my notes rather than asking me to repeat everything I’d already said. The dr was lovely and very helpful. I didn’t want to be admitted as I was so tired I just wanted to go home instead of forcing me to stay because my condition has been an on going thing for my whole life he said he would trust my instincts and if I was to feel unwell at all I had to go back. No pressure to make me stay when I knew I could treat at home and I’d be more comfortable. We had a 5/6 hour stay in there which could have been worse but they kept me informed on what was happening and where I would be going next. Great team, great service
Everyone was very kind, made me feel relaxed and safe in their care.
