Food was ok bit bland bit cold plenty of choice staff were friendly and approachable and caring

Every thing to do with my wife’s treatment was excellent, the consultant who saw my wife was first class,as were all the nursing teams ,all were a credit to there profession

The staff at all levels were calm caring and treated us with respect at all times. Was lovely to see the new department and latest equipment being used. Although extremely busy any queries were answered promptly and fully.

As a trust would like to see more staff. Would like to see coloured lines on the floors to direct you to each department to make it easier to follow the new layout ie X-ray blue sky imagining pharmacy etc

The nurses were wonderful, couldn't wish for better! The Reception staff could be more compassionate and understanding instead of sat giggling behind there desk and ACTUALLY look at emails which were sent to them by an out of hours Dr rather than having to constantly repeat myself ! The clinicians bedside manner could do with been taught to listen and be more understanding rather than belittling . Also look at emails sent and actually listen rather than telling me that A & E was for emergency only. Was sent by a Dr as she was concerned with my pains in my chest!

Clinicians need to be more understanding and liase more with staff members when seeing patients. That way I won't be constantly repeating myself. Telling me there's nothing more can be done and that MY DR would have to send me for further investigation. Does not make sense not to SCAN ...All weekend in pain and nothing I could do!, Attitudes to patients needs to change.A little more kindness and understanding would go a long way instead of feeling like your wasting their time. Especially with Dr/Clinician

I am so impressed with the care I received the staff were caring and explained everything as treatment was given. The new facilities are outstanding and the atmosphere around the department gave a professional and caring feeling making you feel you were being listened to not being rushed in and out.

Junior doctors jut came in an out saying different things all the time. At no point was blood take or was tested for covid yet upon release went home to bed as was feeling very unwell to find this morning when I did a test I have covid. Why was this not picked up on.

Instead of several different doctors and juniors all coming out with different stuff that makes you even more nervous stick to one doctor.

Wasn't happy when the Triage nurse doctor laughed/sniggered at me when explaining my situation. Found this very unprofessional. Seems as though I shouldn't have a point of view and they think they no best so shouldn't make these comments.

Staff should show more respect for the patients opinions.

I was sent to the hospital from The doctors after an early appointment after a night shift so I hadn’t slept. The seating in the new A&E is absolutely horrendous and not comfortable at all. Particularly when you’re using it on and off for 7 hours during my stay.

Staff were great / seating is sooo poor
