I was made to feel very welcomed
Thankyou so much to all the staff plus I got to have my chocolate thankyou for help I now will be having counselling to make me feel a lot happy within myself
The care I received has allowed me to not only open up about my past traumas, but be able to know there is always someone who is going through something similar to me. I know I have all the support around me to allow me, to become a more confident independent lady.
It has allowed me to become more social (even though I typically like to be anti-social and enjoy time to myself). Therapist have helped me become more engaged and involved in different activities, such as painting, colouring and ect.
It has showed me that as a human we have many aspects, that being… physical health, social health, emotional health and mental health. Which I am currently struggling with to this day. With support I have been able to open up, and day by day I will get to where I want to be.
I am racially abused by other patients
My discharge process has been very well handled
I only got here yesterday but so far it’s okay but the other patients scare me
Psychiatrist at combewood mental health centre has defined my illness as bipolar disorder in remission for which I am taking medication and reducing all risk factors identified
Difficult to feel safe because people are very unwell but from a staff point of view I feel safe
Bit chaotic here with other patients and hard to relax
Loud drilling from building work
Tea machine is great
