The clinic staff were very helpful in explaining things, especially with regard to how my husband's leg should be treated following surgery - something that the RLI (Ward 33) staff had failed to do! Also further follow-up appointment arranged. Good care/treatment from everyone - medical and administrative staff. Thank you. What could be improved is that the clinic doctor told us that our GP surgery's practice nurse would undertake daily changing of dressings. However our surgery have explained that the practice nurses do not do this - it is all done by the "Dressings service" and/or district nurses. (We had to contact this service ourselves - that's another story!) Some"joined-up thinking" seems to be needed here - surely it's best for patients if each (health) service actually knows what other services do?
