Wonderful Hospital wonderful Doctors and Nurses, thank you so much
I was very pleased with reception staff for their warm welcome and to Jack who did my ECG today. He made me feel comfortable by being friendly, asking how I was and having a giggle with me, it makes a difference to have that human connection when you feel anxious, he was great and obviously is hard working. The ladies at reception were very kind also, I heard them greeting everyone who came in and they helped me find the paperwork with the link to this site but as it was busy in cardiology I thought best to complete online rather than take up space there. Thank you to all if this can be passed onto them as the amazing job they do is appreciated.
Staff exceptionally friendly, informative and helpful at all times.
There was no time when I didn’t feel informed about my condition and treatment
I answered all the above questions, for which question do you want a why answer?
Being a former member of staff I was more than hesitant to book in as fearful of how I would be perceived. However I was treated with kindness and compassion at each stage. I was listened to and was a true partner in my care.
I was escorted to triage by another member of staff. I was seen promptly by the Navigation nurse. I was afforded the privilege of a side room. Given the pressure on capacity with ambulances being held I truly expected to remain in reception if not Fit2sit. I appreciated the privacy this afforded. As this was not a social visit.
I was seen and assessed in a non judgemental manner and reassured that I was not though any less of for seeking help.
I was assessed by the MHLT team who performed a comprehensive and objective review of my needs and follow up arranged.
Specific thanks to Adam Mundell, Anna Blackwell and Marisa Oliveira.
Nicu is the hardest place to be as a parent but the team are in my eyes the best team in the world.
the team worked well to put me at ease
Went to paediatric a&e with our daughter, Hannah took great care of her and everyone we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Clean, organised environment. Thank you for the good work.
We respected the staff there and that made the day easier
Nothing the doctor said on either of my two appointments has alleviated my concerns. Whilst an MRI was ordered I am obviously anxious about what has happened to cause the condition I now have. Today I received a copy of the 2nd appointment letter sent to my GP where the doctor referred to my 'perceived symptoms' insinuating he thinks I am some sort of neurotic hypochondriac. I am not. I don't know when I will get the results of the MRI scan which I had last week. If a doctor is going to be rude about a patient, don't send them a copy of the letter!
