Very good and friendly
Dr's always listen + you don't feel rushed or that you are wasting time a problem we have had with GP in past
Speed of response to GP request was impressive. Staff very friendly + helpful.
Cannot fault my experience.
The nurses were really good as were the cleanliness. The only thing. I wasnt happy with was being moved so many times. Also the food was good the departure loung was a brilliant idea.
Developed severe biliary colic - ambulance crew attended in response to 999 call. My wife encountered some early communications difficulties - resolved.
Ambulance crew were excellent, quick assessment and offered i.v. pain relief - very effective.
In ED staff were considerate and friendly.
I subsequently suffered an episode of very low pulse rate and lost consciousness. I was transferred to the Resuscitation Unit, where I recovered quickly was dealt with most sympathetically and effectively. I was then transferred to the MAU (separate report will follow)
Admitted to MAU from ED for observation and cardiac monitoring. Was made comfortable and staff were attentive, ensuring food and drink and general comfort. Cardiologist was excellent, gave clear advice and reassurance.
Discharge after about 12 hours on the ward was smooth and efficient.
During the day staff were great, allowed me to go for wonders and out for a smoke, likewise with night time staff however the staff were not considerate of the time and were very noisy. This resulted in me having 2-3 hrs sleep for the two nights i was there. I then got moved to B6 as A6 got extremely busy, B6 is so quiet and staff are very friendly i also managed to have a fantastic nights sleep
Very attentive staff. Friendly. Good food. More updates on condition.
My care was outstanding.
Excellent care. all round. All staff kind, considerate, helpful. No faults.
