I have had 2 cateract operations at Queen Alexandra Hospital, all staff, from the Surgeons who performed the surgery, to the Porter who rescued me when the taxi driver dropped me off at the wrong entrance, have been kind, courteous and pleasant as well as highly skilled. I was very apprehensive having read scare stories about our NHS, I can only say my friend paid thousands of pounds for her cateract operations in a private hospital and the only difference in our experiences was her 'after op' cup of tea came in a tea pot and she was asked what type of biscuits she would like - mine came in a mug and I had no choice in my biscuit. A great big 'thank you' to all concerned, and no improvement is necessary.
