My room was near the nurses station - which was very noisy at change of shifts - I had to ask for my door to be kept closed. I didn't really want to hear about the drugs the other patients were being given!
There was often quite a delay between requesting something like painkillers and actually receiving them.
Having spent a night at the Spire in Havant last year I felt that the staff at QA could learn a great deal from the staff at the Spire - mainly about interactions with the patients. More explanations about what was happening and what I was being given would have been helpful. Although the staff were thoroughly professional and I felt I could trust them there was something missing.
