My appointment with the consultant today was a waste of my time, theirs and the NHS. The consultant informed me of the same diagnosis as my GP did six months ago. The consultant has now advised me that the procedure might not be funded by the NHS, but has still added me to the waiting list. I am now in limbo as to what to do, do I wait to be informed the procedure is not funded which will delay me in looking for alternative options. I am unfortunately unable to inform you who I saw as they did not introduce themselves.
